Everything described here is done with the panels your Mac already has.

The online chapters on this site are complete and open to read. The e-book exists for readers who want the whole method in a single document: something to print, to keep beside a laptop, or to read away from a screen. It is written for the same reader and follows the same careful sequence, from the first look at the storage screen to the final recheck.

This site publishes written guides and one printable e-book. That is the whole of what we make. There is nothing that runs on your Mac, nothing to set up, and no account to create with us. When you order the e-book, your copy arrives in your inbox after purchase, sent by email to the address you provide.

What is inside

The e-book collects the full text of the chapters published here, arranged as a single continuous read, and adds two things the site does not carry: a checking routine and a reference appendix.

Format and reading

The e-book is offered in two layouts. The PDF is set for printing, with page breaks in sensible places and a light layout that survives a black-and-white printer. The EPUB is set for screens, with text that reflows to any size, so it reads comfortably on a phone or a tablet. You may choose either layout at order, or both. Because it is a written document, it works equally well read start to finish or used as a reference for the one chapter you need today.

How it is delivered

Delivery is deliberately plain. After purchase, your copy is sent to you by email at the address you provide, and it is then saved on your Mac like any other document you receive. There is nothing to sign into and nothing to keep running. If the message does not appear, check the usual folders where a first message can hide, then write to [email protected] and we will send it again.

Your copy arrives in your inbox after purchase. It is sent by email to the address you provide, and you keep it — print it, keep it on the Mac, or both. There is no expiry and no subscription.

Who it helps

It suits readers who prefer a printed reference, people who want the whole method in one place rather than across pages, and anyone who works on a Mac away from a steady connection. It also suits readers who like a checklist: the one-page routine in the appendix is written to be marked off as each group is reviewed. If you only ever need a single chapter, the online pages cover you; the e-book is for when you want all of it, together.

Honest expectations

The e-book will not tell you in advance how much room you will recover, because the answer depends on what is on your Mac. Some readers find a little, others a great deal. Results vary from machine to machine. What the guide does is show you the sequence clearly and safely, so that whatever room is available finds its way back to you without a mistake along the way.
